    Our heart lies in the attentive audience experience and we are revered for creating and maintaining one of the finest intimate showcase venues in the Canadian music scene, not only locally / provincially / nationally but international as well for over 16 years. We do believe we have had and will continue to have a positive effect on live entertainment production standards for Canadian venues and we do trust that our endeavours are appreciated by our audiences and performers alike. 

 

we are entering back into the 'live audience' aspect

of the 'live streaming' of the now new normal music scene

we will have room for approx. 15 people per show

Maintaining the Duncan Showroom's existance 

over our 16 years of being open as an all ages venue, yes, we have had our hand out to the community to aid us in staying open

it is the nature of the arts to be subsidized somehow, and our tax dollars do have an arts component allotted and we are not included in that allotment as a private business

but this is not your regular theatre

we believe in a venue for new material to be heard, original music to be performed, boundaries  to be pushed and all in a 'hip' fashion

yeppir... has been 17 years since our first performance at the Showroom, known as the Duncan Garage Showroom back then Sept. 23rd - Slow Drag with Andrew and Lawrence opening.... we were soon up to presenting a t least one show a day...wow bands / trios/ duos/ solo/spoken word/community theatre international/national/provincial and local we figure close to 10,000 performances well over 7,000 acts

They are traveling across the Sunshine Coast and Vancouver Island to perform their unique takes on cover songs and original music, in an evening of solo and duo performances. found out about this singer/songwriter by accident...and I am sure glad we have had chances to work together

she needs be heard, she is an honest songwriter, no glitter, just wonderful songs about a better world being obtainable

she brings along her guitar player who is absolutely o the money for her songwriting stylings

yes, a concert not to miss...but for sure there will many more

also broadcast to the Old Firehouse Wine Bar extended patio for this show....the weather being so marvelous....so maybe grab a meal and listen to some fine entertainment
