'it's about the music'
Our heart lies in the attentive audience experience and we are revered for creating and maintaining one of the finest intimate showcase venues in the Canadian music scene, not only locally / provincially / nationally but internationally as well for over 18 years. We do believe we have had and will continue to have a positive effect on live entertainment production standards for Canadian venues and we do trust that our endeavours are appreciated by our audiences and performers alike.

for those of you who either can't make it to the event cause of illness or family emergencies or you don't live in our immediate  area

we 'live' stream all of our concerts to youtube and facebook

https://www.youtube.com/c/DuncanShowroom/live

(if you are local and watching from home, sitting in the chair of your choice, wearing the clothes of your choice, drinking the beverage of your choice, possibly even inhaling the fresh air of your choice and all for 'free', why not donate the ticket price or parts thereof so we can continue this 'free' to you service)

one way to support the Showroom experience is to view and possibly buy a photo book of past performers

all profits go to the Showroom

Bruce Coughlan is a career performer. A songwriter, recording artist, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, compere, and storyteller par excellence with five decades of experience. Bruce’s songs are a reflection of the many roads he’s travelled over the decades since he first slung a guitar over his shoulder to tackle life as a balladeer. He's written hundreds of songs and performed at thousands of venues, ranging from folk clubs to concert halls and festivals (including a Canada Day performance on Parliament Hill!) Bruce Coughlan, along with his band (Tiller’s Folly) has been welcomed internationally as a touring artist. His eclectic mix of original Roots-based songs are honest, timeless & authentic. His storytelling is intriguing, matched by his expressive voice and masterful guitar work. A Celtic Odyssey - In story and song, Bruce Coughlan carries his audience through a number of Traditional Irish & Scottish influences that helped shape his own vision in the timeless craft of balladry. Served up alongside captivating tales of the adventures (and misadventures) to have inspired particular songs, this presentation captures Bruce in full flight, performing entirely in DADGAD, a distinct guitar tuning favoured among Celtic musicians. Celtic, Folk & Roots Music fans will find much to enjoy in this show. $25
